Never one to do things by halves, she made sure nobody would forget her by proudly wearing her famous swimming cap throughout the day!     • Ted Meets Ted! 🐒

      There was great excitement in Year 5 this week when Mr Lawrence brought his 9-year-old tortoise, Ted, into school for a special visit. Even better, Ted the tortoise got to meet Ted from Year 5! Pupils enjoyed learning more about tortoises and getting a closer look at this fascinating reptile. A memorable visit for everyone involved!

      Year 3 rounded off the school year in the best way possible with a fantastic water fight! Armed with water pistols, buckets and plenty of enthusiasm, pupils enjoyed an afternoon of laughter, fun and a well-deserved chance to cool off.     • A Special Visit from Toby the Tortoise 🐒

      Year 1 enjoyed a very special visitor when Mrs Collins brought Toby the tortoise into school. The children loved meeting Toby and asked Mrs Collins lots of thoughtful questions to learn more about him and how to care for a tortoise. It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience!

      Year 1 enjoyed a wonderful end-of-term picnic to celebrate a fantastic year together. The children each brought in food to share with their classmates and loved relaxing with a picnic while listening to stories. It was a lovely way to round off a brilliant year!

    • Year 4 Camp at Magdalen Farm πŸ•οΈ

      Our Year 4 pupils had an unforgettable few days at Magdalen Farm, packed full of adventure, teamwork and fun! From team-build πŸ“Έing activities, exploring the farm and pond dipping in the River Axe, to fire-lighting challenges, football, zip wire adventures and evening games, every day was filled with exciting experiences and plenty of smiles.

      The children also enjoyed camp awards, arts and crafts, making smoothies using the smoothie bikes, and creating their own pizzas and garlic bread before heading home. Although there were a few tired faces by the end of the trip, everyone returned with wonderful memories, new friendships and lots of stories to tell.

      A huge thank you to all the staff who gave up their time to make this fantastic experience possible.

The children enjoyed observing the fascinating insect up close before carefully placing it back into the long grass to continue its adventure.       Year 6 enjoyed their final PE lesson with a trip to the climbing frames, taking them right back to their Reception days! It was a lovely way to reflect on how far they've come, with plenty of smiles, laughter and memories made before they move on to the next chapter.

    • A huge thank you to Mrs Peacock!

      Yesterday marked the final Lego Club with Mrs Peacock, and what a wonderful club it has been. Our Year 1 and Year 2 children have absolutely loved coming along each week, building, creating and having so much fun together.

      We would like to say a huge thank you to Mrs Peacock for giving up her time to run such a popular club. We are also incredibly grateful for her very generous offer to take all of the children on a trip to LEGOLAND πŸ€­πŸ€”πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

    • Ahoy, Mateys!

      ear 2 had a fantastic Pirate Day yesterday, with the children throwing themselves into the fun by dressing up and taking part in a range of pirate-themed activities.

      To make the day even more special, the children were treated to an amazing pirate-themed bouncy castle. There were smiles, laughter and plenty of bouncing as they enjoyed this wonderful surprise!

      The bouncy castle was a very generous leaving gift from Mrs Tucker to the Year 2 pupils. We are incredibly grateful for her kindness and thoughtfulness, and we're sure this is a memory the children will treasure for years to come.

    • Year 1 Visit St Mary's Church β›ͺ

      Year 1 enjoyed a wonderful visit to St Mary's Church as part of their RE learning. The children completed a treasure hunt around the church, listened carefully to the volunteers as they learned about its different features, and finished by drawing beautiful pictures of the outside of the church. It was a lovely trip and a fantastic way to round off this term's RE topic.
