Year 3 worked with rocks this afternoon to test the durability of each. They used sandpaper, water and acid (vinegar) to check for their reactions!

Girls’ Football Success! ![]()

Our girls’ football team put in an exceptional performance in their very first outing together! They played 5 games in total – winning 3, drawing 1, and only narrowly losing 1. ![]()

We’re so proud of the teamwork, determination and energy they showed on the pitch – a fantastic start for the team! ![]()

Thanks to the incredible support of our parents and local community at last year’s PTA events, we’ve been able to give our ICT Suite a much-needed upgrade over the summer holidays! ![]()

Every pupil will now benefit from brand new hard drives (with the latest spec to keep them running for years to come), plus shiny new keyboards and mice.
The PTA kindly donated £6,000 towards the project, with the remainder funded through a grant – something we simply couldn’t have achieved without your support. ![]()
And we’re not stopping there! Our next fundraising and grant project will be to provide a canopy for our Reception class, giving the children a fantastic outdoor space to enjoy all year round. ![]()

KS1 Arts & Crafts Club enjoyed making mushrooms
this week.
Yesterday, year 5 carried out a science experiment inspired by Galileo Galilei. They tested to see if they could change the speed of the pendulum. Brilliant work year 5!
On Tuesday, year 5 used the PE equipment to build our very own trenches! It was great fun ![]()
Year 2 have been using things from nature to make land art. We used conkers, pine cones and acorns !
Year 3 made medals in PSHE for what they are proud of! ![]()
School Photos this Friday 26th September
If your child is due to have PE (KS1), please send them in normal school uniform.
We have been continuing to think about how animals have adapted to live in their habitats in science in Year 2. We had some really interesting discussions this afternoon such as why a polar bear would struggle to survive in a savannah and how a lion would need to adapt in order to live in a tundra.
