Phonics Play has a number of games to support the development of children's reading skills and is free to use during the school closure.
Please encourage your child to play the games in Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the website.
Popular reading/phonics games are Pick a Picture, Grab a Giggling Grapheme and Buried Treasure. Popular spelling games are Rocket Rescue and Space Race.
Topmarks is a free website to use and has a range of games to develop children's mathematical skills in counting, addition, subtraction, sequencing, shapes and measurement. There may be games with different levels of difficulty. You may just need to check that the correct level is chosen for your child's age and ability.
ICT games is free to use and has a range of literacy and numeracy games. Again, many of the games have different levels of difficulty and so please check your child is accessing the correct level for his/her age and ability.
