This week, I challenge you to…
…recommend a film.
Films are a great way to pass the time indoors, while enjoying a story with your family. My favourite film EVER is The Princess Bride. It has action, comedy, pirates and fencing - what's not to love? My second favourite is Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. This film always makes me giggle. If you haven't see these films, I recommend you check them out.
…make somebody else a drink.
In our Zoom call this week, Sasa suggested we look after ourselves by staying hydrated. Show a family member you care by making them a drink. Perhaps, this is the perfect time to learn how to safely make a cup of tea (ask a grown up before using a kettle).
… to share a reading nook.
It's not quite a nook, but this is my reading chair. It used to belong to my grandparents; I read some of my first stories in it as a child. Now, the chair is in my house and it's still my favourite place to curl up with a good book (I'm reading Mortal Engines - I recommend that too)!
…have a cat party.
You know this is my favourite disco song, Year 4. Today's challenge is to have boogie to this tune. No evidence necessary, unless anyone catches their own pet or cuddly toy dancing along too..!
… help make a meal.
Here I am making a Bolognese with lots of veggies. I am sure your grown ups are busy bees at the moment, perhaps you could lighten their load by offering to help make a meal. Ask your grown ups first!
