Year 1 loved getting the chance to explore a real police car, finding out about some of the equipment inside and, of course, having a good look around! 
A big thank you to our local police for taking the time to visit us. 
Children are invited to wear their brightest yellow clothing as we spend the day talking and learning about children’s mental health.
A yellow T-shirt, jumper, socks or a whole outfit—whatever they have is lovely. No donation is needed. We’d just love everyone to join in and help raise awareness.

Over the next week, every pupil will bring home their own Christmas card design, along with an order form. You can order a range of personalised products featuring your child’s artwork through Cauliflower Cards.

Each form has a unique code at the top of the page, which links your order to the artwork attached to that form. All orders and payments must be made online using this code.
All orders must be placed and artwork forms returned to school by Friday 16th October.
Placing your order online is only part of the process: you must also return the original form with your child’s artwork attached. Without the artwork, Cauliflower Cards cannot produce your order.

Year 2 had lots of fun making their own Play-Doh snails today, inspired by their reading of The Snail and the Whale by Julia Donaldson. What a wonderfully creative collection! 
Year 6 were fantastic, working together to tidy the area and plant bulbs ready for a beautiful display in the spring. Brilliant teamwork and care for our school grounds — well done, Year 6! 
The boys played absolutely brilliantly in the Shine tournament, with every player giving their all. They held three of the top teams to draws and finished with a fantastic 5–0 win, with goals from Tadisa, Jake and Jackson.

At Brentry Primary School, we have been strengthening our allergy procedures this term to help keep all pupils safe.
All staff have completed relevant allergy training, and our new draft allergy policy has been shared with staff ahead of being submitted to governors for approval. We also have spare emergency adrenaline auto-injectors (EpiPens) in school.
Families already complete a dietary requirements form when their child joins us. For pupils with an allergy, we now require an additional allergy information form to ensure we have clear, up-to-date details of their needs. Please contact the school office to arrange to complete this form if your child has an allergy.
If you have any dietary or allergy concerns, or your child’s needs have changed, please do not hesitate to contact the office.

It was lovely to welcome back our KS1 Arts & Crafts Club this week! Butterflies were the theme for our first session, giving the children a lovely opportunity to get creative.
