Year 5 and Year 2 visited the Mosque in Easton. We had a tour around and an interesting talk about how it is used.
Year 4 had a visit from Mandy Briggs who led a workshop about the life of John Wesley. The children learnt about who he was and how he was important to Bristol. They also wrote their own manifesto.
Term 3. Encounter Christianity visited Year 3. They did a workshop about stories from the Bible.
Term 2. KS1 performed 'The Nativity'. Year 2 dressed as characters from the Nativity story and acted it out. Year 1 and Reception sang the Christmas songs. A brilliant performance!
Matt from the Branch Community Church delivered a 'Christmas in a box' workshop to year 3. It was a different way to tell the Christmas story.
Year 4 have been learning about the festival of Divali. They made Diva lamps and had a visit from Tanay's family who told them about how they celebrate Divali.
Term 1 2023. What is a worldview? Year 5 compared and looked at different worldviews. They created some art around their own worldviews.
