Year 2 had a very exciting and informative visit from Avon Fire & Rescue Service today! The children learned all about fire safety, explored the equipment used by firefighters, and even had a go at using the hose 🚒💦

It sparked some great discussions about how firefighting equipment today is far more advanced than it was back in 1666 during the Great Fire of London. A fantastic hands-on experience and a brilliant link to our learning – thank you for visiting us!
