Term 1

PE: Mondays (indoor) and Tuesdays (in/outdoor)

September 7th: Forest Schools (Apply suncream before school! Pack a hat)

September 11th: INSET - School closed to pupils

September 14th: Back to School Meeting at 3.30pm (likely to 4pm, with additional time to stay for Q+A)

September 14th: Yoga every Monday for 6 weeks wear PE kit 

September 28th: Forest Schools (Apply suncream before school! Pack a hat)

October 5th: National Poetry Day - Pupils invited to perform in whole-school Poetry Slam, also deadline for 'This Is Me' Poetry competition.

October 10th: Hello Yellow Children invited to wear yellow. Optional £1 donation to support Young Minds, a mental health charity

October 13th: Non-Uniform Day Donations of sweets, chocolates and bottles for PTA fund-raising events.

October 16th - 20th: Swimming We are swimming every afternoon this week. Bring your swimming costume, a large towel, a dressing gown or towel poncho (you may be waiting in playground for a few minutes after changing), sliders/ flip flops/ crocs and a pair of goggles (if you need them)!

October 20th: Non-Uniform Day Donations of sweets, chocolates and bottles for PTA fund-raising events.

Term 2

PE: Tuesdays (in/outdoor) and Thursdays (indoor)

November 2nd: Brentry Halloween Spooktacular

December 5th: KS2 Trip to Bristol Hippodrome

December 6th: Visit St Mary's Church to see our class entry in the Christmas Tree competition

December 7th: Christmas Jumper Day

December 7th: Forest Schools Pack a hat, scarf and gloves. Bring a spare pair of labelled shoes.

December 8th-11th: Year 5 and 6 France Camp

December 13th: Carols by Candlelight 6pm please book a ticket. 2 tickets per a child.

December 14th: School Festive Party Christmas Dinner menu served by staff. All children should wear PE trousers and a festive/favourite jumper for PE activities in the afternoon.

December 15th: Class End of Term Party There will be no PE. Children should wear uniform.

Term 3

PE: Tuesdays (in/outdoor) and Thursdays (indoor)

January 2nd: INSET - School closed to pupils 

January 11th: Forest Schools - We have been forecast snow! Please make sure you have packed a coat, hat, scarf, gloves and wellies.

February 6th: Safer Internet Day

February 7th: PTA UV Disco

February 8th: Forest Schools - It is very cold outside. Please make sure you have packed a coat, hat, scarf, gloves and wellies.

Term 4

March 4th: Y6 Spelling Bee in whole-school assembly. Winner will receive a £5 book voucher.

February 4th: Bedtime Stories 5.30-6.30 pm KS2 children meet in the KS1 playground, where they will be met by their class teacher. All children should be picked up from the KS1 playground at 6.30 pm. Please notify me if your child is allowed to walk home alone after dark.

March 7th: World Book Day Come dressed as your favourite character and take part in our costume competition or wear your PJs and bring your favourite book. 

March 12th: SATs Revision Club 3.15 - 4pm

March 20th: NO SATs Revision Club Mrs S at Y6 Writing Moderation

March 28th: International Day Celebration of world cultures, through languages and food

May 13th - 16th: SATs Week A Year 6 only Breakfast Club will be run Mon-Thurs to help the children 'get in the zone'. Please sign up by paying on Gateway.
