Bonjour !

Welcome to MFL ( Modern Foreign Languages). At Brentry we have chosen to study French. The children in KS2 will be taught French by Mrs Price on a Tuesday. The lessons are very interactive and fun with lots of speaking and listening of French and as the children become more confident writing too. We learn through role play, singing, stories, games and activities and use the Twinkl scheme of work to plan our lessons. During our lessons we also learn about French culture including food tasting and in Year 5/6 a chance to visit France.

We also use Duolingo to practice our speaking and each child will have their own account so they can practice French at home too !
