There have been some absolutely incredible Roman Projects and I would like to thank all of the children (and no doubt lots of parents) who clearly spent hours on their projects. Each and every one of them should be so proud of their efforts and the results no matter which project you decided upon. They look amazing! The children will be holding a mini exhibition of all of the projects and will be showing them off on Roman Day this Friday 8th Dec.
Lots of photos are on here of some of the fantastic projects, however to those who created PowerPoints or Roman Factfiles, you are not forgotten! They were also amazingly informative and very entertaining! Your presentation skills are improving dramatically, well done to all of you. I am so very proud of you all!
For the past two weeks we have been studying 'Diary writing' focusing on 'Pandora'; a small film clip which can be found at http://www.literacyshed.com/the-sci---fi-shed.html
The children have loved it! They have watched the clip, written notes about it, including the use of adjectives and similes to describe it. They then planned, wrote and edited their own Diary Entry, imagining they are spending a day on Pandora.
The results are fantastic, they have put 100% effort into creating fantastic pieces of writing!
