Prevent Duty

All schools and registered childcare providers are required to “have due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism”. This is called the Prevent Duty.

As part of this duty, it is important that families are aware that they can talk to the school if they have any concerns about radicalisation and extremism. We are able to offer assistance and support, and can signpost you to the appropriate agencies.
