PSHE

PSHE is the personal, social and health education we provide for our pupils. We deliver its curriculum primarily through the Jigsaw programme of work. The scheme is regularly updated to keep in line with new statutory requirements and the current issues in society, but allows for the flexibility to make it specific to Brentry. The rationale and intent below give more information about our particular aims and method of delivery. The overview beneath outlines the key content for each puzzle (or theme) and when it is taught. Throughout, there is a strong emphasis on emotional literacy, building resilience and nurturing mental and physical health, key skills to help prepare our children for life's experiences and challenges.
